Conclusion
The Lead Forward Fellowship Program has taught me an incredible amount about myself. Through it, I have discovered my guiding philosophies and leadership theories through which I lead my everyday life. I have become a more capable, collaborative leader with a greater understanding of where my abilities fit within SOAR. Reaching over 200 children through our partnerships with Lafayette Mentors and College Mentors for Kids has been an incredible experience that I am excited to continue.
My incredible impact team has grown with me, allowing SOAR to accomplish incredible feats in a short two years. I would like to thank Saahil Aneja and Jake Zegger for their dedication to SOAR and collaborative efforts through the Lead Forward Program. To Anushka Sharma and Molly Gard, thank you for having a vision and beginning such an incredible program. I cannot give enough thanks to Dr. Adam Watkins and Dr. Shaunta Scroggins, both of which have been essential mentors over the past year. None of our leadership development or impact team success would be possible without their assistance. The Lead Forward Program truly provides social impact teams with irreplaceable guidance and individualized development opportunities that grow both the students and their initiatives.
